Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to join our Denver-area team. You will lead cost management, procurement strategies, and commercial support for mission-critical data centers and corporate real estate projects.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of cost management experience, a relevant degree, and strong communication skills to collaborate with public and private sector clients. This role is on-site in Denver with competitive base pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of cost management or quantity surveying experience.
• Experience on medium to large construction projects.
• RICS accreditation or active pursuit preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on procurement and commercial strategies and vendor processes.
• Lead estimating across all project phases for construction and related costs.
• Review junior estimates and present cost plans and risk assessments.
• Meet with contractors and vendors to review costs using benchmarks.
• Manage cost reporting, budgets, forecasts, and risk registers.
• Facilitate client meetings to monitor cost performance and progress.
• Oversee cost control, change orders, and contract disputes resolution.
• Monitor project invoicing and track financial performance.
• Lead final account negotiations and post-contract closeout.
