Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Denver seeks an experienced Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management across complex data center, corporate real estate and infrastructure projects. You will partner with clients from inception through completion to deliver accurate estimates, cost plans and commercial leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant cost management experience on medium to high complexity projects.
• RICS accreditation or active toward it preferred.
• Experience leading cost management on medium or large construction projects.
• Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Prepare cost plans and present final cost estimates.
• Collaborate with design teams and general contractor on cost estimates.
• Reconcile changes and ensure contractor data accuracy.
• Prepare cost update notes and executive summaries for clients.
• Coordinate cost information from subs, A/Es, and suppliers.
• Drive engineering priorities based on cost impact.
• Manage cost checks, valuations, and post-contract variances.
• Produce monthly cost reports for client review.
• Negotiate final accounts and support benchmarking.
