Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to support a major capital construction program, including a life sciences manufacturing campus. You will advise clients on strategies, manage vendor prequalification and bid processes, and develop comprehensive cost estimates across multiple phases of development.

The role emphasizes cost reporting, risk assessment, value engineering, and post-contract reviews, with on-site presence required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor0s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a cost management role in construction.
• RICS accreditation valuable or in progress.
• Experience on medium or large construction projects, preferably manufacturing/life sciences.

Responsibilities

• Advising client on strategies, managing prequalification of vendors, assessing proposals, bids and bid leveling documents, and chairing bid interviews.
• Developing project estimates relating to construction, fees, direct costs and other costs; reviewing estimates and presenting to client; providing value engineering and risk assessments.
