Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to act as the key day-to-day client interface on large-scale data center construction projects. You will drive cost planning, estimation, and value engineering to meet client objectives throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or related field.
• 5-7 years of cost management experience in construction.
• RICS accredited or working towards it preferred.
• Experience leading cost management on medium/large, complex projects.
• Experience in construction consultancy is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, value management and value engineering.
• Excellent communication skills and on-site presence as required.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Provide cost planning, estimates and final cost plan presentations.
• Review cost estimates with design teams and general contractors.
• Coordinate cost information from NPA, subs, and A/Es.
• Prepare cost reports and final accounts on a timely basis.
• Lead cost management activities across the project lifecycle.
