Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to act as the primary client interface on large-scale data center construction projects. Responsibilities include cost planning, estimating, change management, and negotiations to deliver value‑added cost management across full project lifecycles.

The role requires extensive experience in mission-critical or advanced technology programs, strong communication, and the ability to lead teams in a client‑facing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of cost management experience in the construction industry.
• RICS accreditation is preferred or in progress.
• Experience leading cost management on medium to large, high‑complexity projects.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and negotiate change orders across the construction lifecycle.
• Lead cost planning, develop final cost plans, and review estimates with design teams.
• Reconcile changes with general contractors and ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare cost estimates, updates and executive summaries for clients.
• Manage cost checks, valuations, and post‑contract cost variances.
• Mentor talent and drive best‑practice cost management across projects.
