Savills North America is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to lead cost management for a diverse real estate and construction portfolio within the Savills Program & Project Management group. You will own cost strategy, procurement, and project controls, serving as the primary client contact on cost matters and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive cost management experience on complex projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and takeoff/estimating tools.
• Strong negotiation, leadership, and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of cost estimates and cost models across design phases with defensible assumptions.
• Direct the preparation of cost models, budgets, baselines, and early-phase planning for clients.
• Own procurement strategy including vendor prequalification, bid structuring, and supplier selection recommendations.
• Lead value engineering exercises and present recommendations to clients and leadership.
• Evaluate contractor pricing submissions, identify risk and negotiate resolutions.
• Lead GMP reviews and commercial evaluations on behalf of the client.
• Maintain cost reports, budgets, forecasts, and cash flows across multiple projects.
• Coordinate with project teams and mentor junior staff.
