Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects, LLC is seeking a cost-focused professional to develop detailed cost plans, perform estimations, and manage budgets across major capital projects. You will engage with clients and senior leadership to align costs with strategic objectives and project constraints.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least five years of progressive cost-management experience, with proficiency in CMiC, MS Excel, CostX or Procure, and a

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the Cost Management industry.
• Experience applying construction technologies and sustainability to advise on cost options and implications.
• Experience preparing and reviewing cost budgets and plans using MS-Excel or CostX/Procure.
• Experience working with construction contracts and negotiating change orders.
• Experience implementing Earned Value Management on projects and reporting financial impacts.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically ~80% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop a detailed cost plan with the client, including site layout, conditions, and constraints.
• Review and present cost estimates and cost plans as required.
• Prepare detailed estimates and cost plans.
• Report to senior leadership on current estimated cost vs. budget.
• Perform bid evaluations and cost negotiations.
• Manage the post-contract process.
• Prepare reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessments, and other documents.
• Advise managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
• Record changes in design and update budgets.
• Prepare and present high-level Cost Advice as required.
• Oversee the pre-contract process and monitor internal resource allocation.
• Attend client meetings and ensure actions are executed post-meeting.
