Job summary

Turner & Townsend seeks a Senior Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor in Oregon to lead client-facing cost management on major capital projects, including large-scale manufacturing and advanced technology facilities. You will develop cost plans, manage change, and drive value across design through construction and closeout.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management, with on-site participation and collaboration within project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant construction industry experience.
• RICS accreditation preferred or in progress.
• Experience leading cost management on medium to large projects with high complexity.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, life sciences, technology, industrial or commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Estimating and negotiating change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Provide estimate and cost planning including final cost plan presentation.
• Review estimates with design teams and general contractor.
• Reconcile changes and assist contractor to ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare cost estimate updates and executive summaries for client submissions.
• Coordinate sources of cost information for discussions with suppliers, subs, and A/Es.
