Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management for data center projects. The role focuses on cost planning, cost modeling, and pre-construction activities, with oversight of estimates and robust cost strategies.

You will mentor colleagues, drive commercial excellence, and deliver value across the full lifecycle. Responsibilities include budgeting, RFP leadership, procurement, risk analysis, and ensuring SOX/compliance where applicable.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years in a cost management role in construction.
• RICS accreditation preferred or in progress.
• Experience leading cost management on medium to large projects.
• Construction consultancy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee budgets including detailed cost modelling and senior leadership presentations.
• Track budgets, variance reporting, value analysis through project lifecycles.
• Guide RFP development for design services, owner-furnished equipment, and procurement.
• Lead RFP for general contractor, including bidding, leveling and awarding.
• Support change management and risk analysis on projects pre- and post-GC contract.
• Address contractual claims and disputes; mitigate risk in procurement.
• Review project cost reports and maintain compliance with budgets.
• Lead commercial risk management and provide training through lifecycle.
• Report status and performance to senior management.
• Develop and achieve key commercial metrics; drive continuous improvement.
