Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to act as the key day-to-day client interface on large-scale data center construction projects. You will deliver high-quality, value-added cost management across the full lifecycle, leading cost planning, negotiation, and reporting.

The role requires extensive experience in mission-critical or advanced technology construction, with excellent communication and proactive client-facing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of cost management experience in the construction industry.
• RICS accreditation preferred or working towards it.
• Experience leading cost management on medium to large, high complexity projects.
• On-site presence and requirements may change depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Estimating and negotiating change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Prepare final cost plans and cost planning support with design teams.
• Review cost estimates with design services and general contractor.
• Coordinate all sources of cost information for discussions with suppliers.
• Produce monthly cost reports and deliver final accounts negotiations.
