Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager and/or Quantity Surveyor to join our Nashville team, supporting cost services across a diverse portfolio including real estate developments, data centers, and infrastructure programs.

You will be a key day-to-day client contact, delivering high-quality cost management services, leading cost plans, reporting, and value engineering while mentoring junior staff in a collaborative, client-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or project controls within construction.
• Experience delivering cost management on medium to large-scale projects, preferably commercial real estate.
• Familiarity with estimating, cost planning, procurement, contract administration, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating and cost planning efforts, developing cost plans and reconciling changes throughout projects.
• Act as daily client interface, gathering updates and delivering cost reporting and executive summaries.
• Manage cost control processes including valuations, change orders, contingencies, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate cost information sources and provide input into procurement strategies and value engineering.
• Support procurement activities, bid evaluation, contract input, and tender reporting.
• Produce monthly cost reports and funding updates; ensure closeout of final accounts.
• Ensure cost auditing and change control procedures across all phases.
• Mentor junior team members and support overall team performance.
