Job summary

Colliers Global Occupier Services seeks an experienced Senior Cost Estimator to support international industrial and office construction projects. You will be the SME on cost management, guiding PMs and real estate teams with budget definitions and procurement strategy.

You will develop cost estimates across project lifecycles, assess risk, drive value engineering, and ensure projects meet time and budget targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in construction management, engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost management processes for projects.
• Guide PMs and the Real Estate team in defining budgets based on project requirements, procurement strategy and contract type.
• Identify significant cost risks and develop mitigation measures with project teams.
• Provide cost estimates across project life cycle from preliminary to detailed level.
• Evaluate cost control effectiveness and review forecasts to safeguard budget.
• Leverage cost and time-efficient construction methods to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Support PM in value engineering, price and claim negotiations with General Contractor.
• Collaborate closely with PM for overall project success and client growth targets.
