Job summary

Colliers International seeks an experienced Senior Cost Estimator to join its Global Occupier Services group. You will serve as a subject matter expert supporting project managers and the real estate team on cost planning and control across industrial and office sectors.

Responsibilities include developing budgets, providing lifecycle estimates, and guiding value engineering efforts while collaborating with PMs to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in construction management, engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years experience in cost estimating and cost management.
• Knowledge of cost benchmarks for industrial buildings and related factors.
• Ability to review cost plans for quality and accuracy before approval.
• Understanding of various contract types and open-book approaches.
• International experience on industrial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost management processes.
• Define budgets for construction projects based on requirements and procurement strategy.
• Provide cost estimates from preliminary to detailed levels.
• Evaluate cost control measures and review forecasts to protect budgets.
• Support PMs with value engineering, price, and claim negotiations.
• Collaborate with project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
