A leading engineering firm in New Jersey is seeking a skilled Cost Engineer for the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in managing costs for large-scale infrastructure projects and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. This position offers a competitive salary range of $150,000–$180,000 along with comprehensive benefits, including medical and PTO. Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience managing cost on large-scale infrastructure and transit projects.
Experience with Kahua, Sage, Unifier, and E-builder.
Responsibilities
Verify contractor invoices for accuracy and compliance.
Track and analyze project costs, comparing budgeted costs to actual expenditures.
Generate detailed monthly reports highlighting cost variances and forecasts.
Use tools such as Power BI and Excel to visualize data.
Input and manage cost-related data in PMIS platforms.
Oversee data imports and exports between PMIS and other tools.
Work closely with project managers to establish and manage the project budget.
Monitor budget trends and analyze expenditures against the forecast.
