A leading engineering firm in New Jersey is seeking a skilled Cost Engineer for the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in managing costs for large-scale infrastructure projects and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. This position offers a competitive salary range of $150,000–$180,000 along with comprehensive benefits, including medical and PTO. Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience managing cost on large-scale infrastructure and transit projects.
• Experience with Kahua, Sage, Unifier, and E-builder.

Responsibilities

• Verify contractor invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Track and analyze project costs, comparing budgeted costs to actual expenditures.
• Generate detailed monthly reports highlighting cost variances and forecasts.
• Use tools such as Power BI and Excel to visualize data.
• Input and manage cost-related data in PMIS platforms.
• Oversee data imports and exports between PMIS and other tools.
• Work closely with project managers to establish and manage the project budget.
• Monitor budget trends and analyze expenditures against the forecast.
