Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Sr. Engineer, Cost Engineering to lead cost modeling across our vehicle portfolio. You will generate precise should-cost estimates from BoM, CAD data, and manufacturing inputs, and perform teardown analyses to refine cost structures.

In this role you’ll drive value analysis, partner with Global Supply Management, and support product development with cost-aware design choices to meet budget objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cost estimation, modeling, procurement or engineering roles.
• Bachelor's in a relevant engineering or business field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost estimates using BoM data, CAD, drawings and cost systems.
• Perform teardown and BoM analysis for components and assemblies.
• Support value engineering and cost-reduction activities.
• Collaborate with Global Supply Managers to assess supplier pricing.
• Work with engineering to align cost targets with budgets.
