Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls Team Member (P3) to join the OSC Finance organization in a hybrid US-based role. The candidate will oversee supply chain financials, develop EACs, and perform weekly cost analyses to support MPM and program teams.

The role requires a university degree (or advanced degree) with 3–5 years of relevant cost-control experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Earned Value, APEx and PRISM in a cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• Requires university degree or advanced degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience
• Experience understanding cost allocation across bases, organizations or products
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office tools; MS Windows operating systems

Responsibilities

• Support quarterly EACs with costs, risks and opportunities for factories and program levels
• Provide cost, schedule and funding planning and reporting support to GSCM leaders and management
• Prepare program financial forecasts and explain variances to plans and forecasts
• Manage cost accumulation methods for material on weekly, monthly, and quarterly bases
• Support cost reduction projects using manufacturing and functional expertise
• Assist in developing cost estimates for new business proposals and basis of estimates
