Job summary

RTX, the world\'s largest aerospace and defense company, seeks a Principal Program Cost Controls Specialist to support the OSC Finance team in Tucson, AZ. The hybrid role focuses on EVMS-based cost and schedule control, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across contracts using SAP/APEX tools.

You will collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations, perform variance analyses, and prepare monthly program metrics to ensure performance within negotiated parameters.

Qualifications

• University Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of cost controls/EVMS experience.
• Experience with Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and SAP R/3.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with functional orgs during EAC development.
• Support month-end close financial planning activities.
• Interact with Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis of labor and materials.
• Contractual and internal EVMS reporting, including monthly program metrics.
• Risk and opportunity valuation and impact on profitability.
• Processing budget change requests.
• Ad‑hoc requests
