Job summary

CRB is seeking a Cost Control Analyst III in Emeryville, CA to lead project labor and expense planning and forecasting. The role focuses on risk mitigation by actively monitoring costs and communicating with project leadership to enforce cost control policies.

The analyst will collaborate with cost control teams and project leadership to ensure accuracy and compliance. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least eight years of experience, with strong proficiency

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of eight years of related experience.
  • Excellent understanding of general accounting standards and principles.
  • Expert understanding of design and/or construction accounting practices.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare project labor and expense plans.
  • Forecast through the use of accounting and project management systems.
  • Provide risk mitigation by alerting management of known and unknown risks on projects through proactively monitoring labor and expenses.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of cost control policy, including internal processes and procedures.
  • Understand cost control policy, including internal processes and procedures.
  • Routinely converse with cost control team, Project Director/Manager, and field staff to reinforce processes.
