Job summary

CRB in Irvine is seeking a Cost Control Analyst III to develop and monitor project labor and expense plans, forecasting with accounting and project management systems, and provide proactive risk mitigation across assigned projects.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in business/ accounting and at least eight years of related experience, with strong knowledge of cost control policy and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of eight years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project labor and expense plans
• Forecast through the use of accounting and project management systems
• Provide risk mitigation by alerting management of known and unknown risks on projects through proactively monitoring labor and expenses for assigned projects
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of cost control policy, including internal processes and procedures
• Understand of cost control policy, including internal processes and procedures
• Routinely conversing with the cost control team as well as the Project Director/ Manager, design and/or field staff while conveying and reinforcing these processes and procedures
