Job summary

Baltimore Gas and Electric is seeking a Senior Cost Analyst to develop and validate cost estimates and cash flow forecasts for major transmission capital projects in the early stages of the lifecycle.

Collaborate with Project Managers, Schedulers, Estimators, Planning, Engineering, and Investment Strategy to ensure transparent assumptions, defensible estimates, and alignment with portfolio planning for readiness reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Financial or Technical Field; 4–7 years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to provide in-depth forecasting, analytical and problem-solving skills; effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage project forecasting, accrual, and status processes; coordinate with stakeholders.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, accruals, and actuals for transmission, substation, distribution, and gas projects.
• Analyze cost drivers, risks, and variances; support governance and quarterly plans.
• Prepare project performance reports for internal and external use.
• Support monthly forecasting and accrual meetings; prepare journal entries for Finance.
