Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a Project Cost Analyst to monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost performance for Transmission projects within the Project Management Organization. The role involves evaluating cost impacts of scope changes and communicating findings to project teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent experience, 3+ years in cost analysis, and strong Excel skills to support cost control and reporting activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent work experience is required.
• Degree in finance strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report budgets and costs for projects in the Transmission PMO.
• Assist in cost forecasting, variance analysis, and productivity reporting.
• Review bid specifications, change orders, invoices, and performance for vendors and contracts; assess cost impact.
• Coordinate preparation of project work orders and interface with accounting and purchasing teams.
• Provide cost engineering liaison and ensure accuracy of cost data for planning and scheduling.
