Senior Cost Analyst

LHH Greensboro—Winston‑Salem—High Point Area

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking to fill a Senior Cost / Financial Analyst position for a growing manufacturer. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and cost accounting, with a proven track record in driving process improvements and supporting business growth. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross‑functional teams, contribute to strategic decision‑making, and play a key part in optimizing profitability and operational efficiency.

Job Duties include the following:

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support organizational objectives.
• Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate pricing, profitability, and business trends across products, customers, and lines of business.
• Prepare and present financial reports, KPIs, and departmental expenses to management.
• Support commercial teams with pricing and profitability analysis.
• Lead cost reporting and analysis initiatives, focusing on cost reduction and margin improvement.
• Analyze and report on factory overheads, labor efficiency, and supply chain costs, recommending opportunities for savings.
• Participate in the development of sales, operations, and SG&A budgets.
• Oversee inventory management and reporting.
• Collaborate with various departments to provide financial guidance and track key initiatives.
• Utilize advanced data mining and systems skills; Power BI experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
• Demonstrated expertise in cost accounting and inventory accounting systems.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data to leadership.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in manufacturing finance is desired
