Kenworth Truck Company, a PACCAR subsidiary in Kirkland, WA, seeks a Sr. Cost Accounting Supervisor to lead standard cost and margin analysis, oversee month-end close, and drive accurate cost of sales reporting. This role includes 1–2 direct reports and interaction with manufacturing finance teams.

The position emphasizes strong internal controls, data analytics, and continuous improvement to support profitable growth for the division.

Qualifications

• BS/BA Accounting Degree with Accounting emphasis preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
• CPA or other advanced certifications.
• Utilizing SAP or large ERP.
• Business Intelligence tools, e.g., Tableau, PowerBI.
• Experience in manufacturing.

Responsabilités

• Execute key month end processes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end statements related to margins and cost of sales.
• Oversee maintenance and update of standard costs.
• Assist and support the preparation of cost of sales forecasts and reviews against actuals.
• Analyze cost related reserves and other balances to ensure proper statements.
• Maintain strong internal controls and support audits.
• Support continuous improvement using data analytics to identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Assist with growth within the cost accounting team and broader operations.
• Assist with special projects such as truck division comparisons and system-related projects.
