PACCAR is seeking a Senior Cost Accounting Supervisor to join the Kenworth accounting team. The role emphasizes standard cost analysis, month-end close, and financial reporting with 1-2 direct reports, contributing to margin improvements and accurate cost recording.

You will lead cost of sales forecasting, reserve analysis, and internal control adherence while supporting ERP and BI tool initiatives. CPA or advanced certifications are encouraged, and experience in manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS/BA Accounting Degree with Accounting emphasis preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
• CPA or other advanced certifications encouraged.
• Experience utilising SAP or large ERP systems and BI tools such as Tableau/PowerBI.

Responsabilités

• Execute key month end processes and produce monthly, quarterly, and year-end statements.
• Oversee maintenance and updates of standard costs.
• Support timely cost of sales forecasts and variance reviews against actuals.
• Analyze cost related reserves and other balances for accuracy.
• Maintain strong internal controls and support audit requirements.
• Using data analytics to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency.
