Kenworth Truck Company seeks a seasoned cost accounting professional to join our fast-paced accounting team. The Sr. Cost Accounting Supervisor will lead standard margin analysis, month-end close, and financial reporting with 1-2 direct reports.

The role emphasizes cost forecasting, internal controls, and data analytics to identify cost-saving opportunities, including manufacturing context and ERP usage. CPA and ERP experience are highly valued.

Qualifikationen

• BS/BA Accounting Degree with Accounting emphasis preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
• CPA or other advanced certifications desirable.

Aufgaben

• Execution of key month end processes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end statements/schedules related to margins and cost of sales.
• Oversee maintenance and update of standard costs.
• Support cost of sales forecasts and variance reviews.
• Analyze cost related reserves and other balances for proper statements.
• Maintain strong internal controls and support audits.
• Assist continuous improvement using data analytics for cost reductions.
