Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of cost accounting experience in a construction/manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including large data set analysis and account reconciliations.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills with audit support experience.
• Ability to challenge data, identify trends, and drive corrective action.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review month-end journal entries related to all cost transactions.
• Reconcile inventory balance sheet accounts and maintain supporting schedules.
• Maintain and analyze product costing, including labor, overhead, and machine rates.
• Analyze manufacturing variances and propose cost-saving solutions.
• Serve as a key finance resource for costing, inventory and production in the ERP system.
• Review cost structures, inventory transactions and financial postings for accuracy.
• Ensure manufacturing costs are accurately reflected in financial reporting.
• Support internal and external audits.
