Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to join our engineering-focused team in North Carolina. You will manage all aspects of cost accounting, monthly reporting, budgeting, inventory analysis, and BOM costing.

Qualifications

Qualifications

1. 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting
2. 2. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (such as CMA or CPA) is preferred.
3. 3. Proven experience in monthly reporting, financials, annual budgeting, inventory analysis, and managing the Bill of Materials.
4. 4. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and make recommendations.
5. 5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and understandable manner.
6. 6. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
7. 7. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
8. 8. A strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
9. 9. The ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
10. 10. A proactive approach, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and take the initiative to implement changes.
