Jobot is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to own cost visibility and financial performance at a key production site. You’ll partner with operations leadership to drive smarter decisions, improve profitability, and bring clarity to the numbers that matter most.

The role reports into manufacturing finance and requires strong month-end close ownership, variance analysis, and ERP proficiency. This position offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits at our Wisconsin site.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in cost accounting or manufacturing finance.
• Experience in a plant/production environment.
• Hands-on ownership of month-end close and variance analysis.
• ERP system experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently and influence across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close process for a manufacturing site across materials, labor, and overhead.
• Dive into variances (PPV, material, labor, overhead) and drive real solutions.
• Partner with operations, procurement, and leadership to identify cost savings.
• Improve costing structures, standards, and assumptions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning with modeling.
• Guide strategic decisions through cost analysis and profitability insights.
• Build and maintain cost models, pricing inputs, and KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own the month-end close process for a manufacturing site, ensuring accurate reporting across materials, labor, and overhead
• Dive into variances (PPV, material, labor, overhead) and drive real solutions, not just reporting
• Partner with operations, procurement, and leadership to identify cost savings and efficiency gains
• Improve and challenge costing structures, standards, and assumptions
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning with strong financial modeling
• Help guide strategic decisions through cost analysis, CapEx evaluation, and profitability insights
• Build and maintain cost models, pricing inputs, and operational metrics
• Drive continuous improvement across financial processes and reporting

• Strong experience in a plant or production environment
