Jobot is partnering with a growing manufacturer to hire a Senior Cost Accountant who will own cost visibility and financial performance at a key production site.

In this high-impact role you will work directly with operations leadership to drive smarter decisions, improve profitability, and bring clarity to the numbers that matter. Qualifications

• 5-10 years in cost accounting or manufacturing finance.
• Strong experience in a plant or production environment.
• Hands-on ownership of month-end close and variance analysis.
• ERP system experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Independent but influential across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close process for a manufacturing site, ensuring accurate reporting across materials, labor, and overhead.
• Dive into variances (PPV, material, labor, overhead) and drive real solutions, not just reporting.
• Partner with operations, procurement, and leadership to identify cost savings and efficiency gains.
• Improve costing structures, standards, and assumptions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning with strong financial modeling.
• Guide strategic decisions through cost analysis, CapEx evaluation, and profitability insights.
• Build and maintain cost models, pricing inputs, and operational metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement across financial processes and reporting.
