Job summary

Venteon Finance is seeking a Cost Accountant to join a stable manufacturing client. The role centers on controlling and analyzing manufacturing costs, standard costing, and inventory accounting.

You will maintain standard costs, analyze variances (PPV, usage, labor, overhead), assist month-end close related to inventory and COGS, and support ongoing cost maintenance and inventory controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 3+ years of manufacturing cost accounting experience.
• Experience with standard costing and inventory accounting.
• ERP systems experience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze standard costs (materials, labor, overhead).
• Prepare and analyze manufacturing variances including PPV, usage, labor, and overhead.
• Support month-end close related to inventory, COGS, and manufacturing variances.
• Support annual standard cost roll-ups and ongoing cost maintenance.
• Support inventory controls including cycle counts and physical inventories.
