Job summary

The Bachrach Group is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant for a growing manufacturing organization in Houston. In this role you will analyze and control manufacturing and operational costs, ensure accurate inventory valuation, and partner with operations and supply chain teams to improve profitability.

Responsibilities include preparing monthly cost accounting reports, analyzing product profitability and cost drivers, monitoring variances, leading inventory counts, performing month-end close

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• 2–3 years of manufacturing cost accounting is required.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and ERP experience are preferred; Microsoft Dynamics is a major plus.
• Detail-oriented and analytical, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Process improvement or automation experience is a major plus.

• Strengthen internal controls and partner cross-functionally to improve cost visibility.
