Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.

• Strong understanding of inventory valuation and standard costing methodologies.
• Experience partnering with operations teams in a plant environment.
• ERP experience and strong Excel skills required.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Process improvement and systems mindset preferred.

• Investigate variances to improve product costing accuracy.
• Support month-end close and operational finance reporting.
• Review BOMs, routings, and manufacturing cost structures.

• Assist with margin analysis and ad hoc financial analyses.
• Partner with operations leadership on cost reduction initiatives.
• Support audits, internal controls, and system/process enhancements.

Senior Cost Accountant Responsibilities
