Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4 years of professional records management experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience.
• U.S. citizen and ability to obtain Texas Basic Jailer License within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff in the Records unit and plans work.
• Develops procedures, trains staff, and coordinates workflow.
• Maintains data quality, audits records, and resolves discrepancies.
• Coordinates organization, storage, and retrieval of jail records per regulations.
• Acts as liaison between court system and jail records for documentation.
• Oversees bail/bonds processing and budget/resource planning.
• Interacts with the public and supports records requests and reporting.
