Job summary

131 DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS is seeking a Correctional Security Manager II at Allen Gamble Correctional Center to oversee a comprehensive security program and coordinate day-to-day operations of a medium to larger facility.

The role requires four years of correctional or security experience, knowledge of firearms and restraint methods, and the ability to supervise staff, conduct investigations, and prepare reports. On-site post with mandatory training and testing.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in correctional or security work for a government agency or private corrections agency.
• The statutory requirements of Title 57, O.S. Section 510 include age and education/training prerequisites.
• Valid driver’s license, willingness to travel, drug testing, and ability to work any shift.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise correctional security functions and activities.
• Possess authority for shift supervision or chief of security in smaller facilities.
• Coordinate and supervise security, riot and escape procedures, including inmate counts and searches.
