Job summary

Fresno EOC is hiring a Food Services Manager to lead operations for the Fresno County Jail and Juvenile Justice Campus foodservice contract. You will supervise staff, coordinate with County authorities, and ensure safe, nutritious meals seven days a week while managing budgets and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, event coordination, HACCP knowledge and the ability to handle high-volume production, menu planning, and data reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in foodservice management, business, hospitality or nutrition; related management experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff, interns and volunteers; manage recruitment and performance processes.
• Liaise with County for notices, billing, invoices and contract administration.
• Oversee high-volume meal production, portioning, holding, delivery and special meals.
• Develop and manage budgets, purchasing and cost controls for the contract.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and quality standards.
• Maintain safety and training programs, including food safety and security procedures.
