Job summary

Computershare U.S. is seeking a senior professional to administer complex trust accounts in Corporate Trust’s Default & Restructuring Group.

You’ll manage defaults, bankruptcies, restructurings, litigation, and distressed debt matters, coordinating with counsel, clients, and internal partners. You will provide due diligence, risk assessment, and strategic recommendations while supporting transaction execution and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8-10+ years of corporate trust, restructuring, bankruptcy, legal, or related financial services experience.
• Juris Doctor or Master in Business Administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer complex default, bankruptcy, restructuring, workout, and distressed debt transactions, including due diligence, risk assessment, and resolution of escalated issues.
• Provide specialized expertise and leadership for assigned accounts, serving as the key contact among clients, counsel, financial advisors, and internal partners to facilitate complex workout, restructuring, and litigation matters.
• Manage special situations, including defaults, litigation, restructurings, successor trustee appointments, and other strategic transaction opportunities.
• Identify, assess, and elevate legal, operational, financial, and reputational risks, and present key issues at watchlist, risk, and senior management meetings.
• Partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including counsel, governance and control, communications, and senior management, to drive successful transaction outcomes.
• Support business growth and operational excellence through management reporting, account reviews, extraordinary expense recovery, process improvements, and strategic initiatives.
