Job summary

S&P Global in New York seeks an Associate Director of Corporate Strategy to join the Strategy, M&A and Investments Team. You will help shape near- and long-term priorities, manage research and presentations for senior leaders, and collaborate with divisions, finance and enterprise functions across geographies.

You will participate in identifying strategic initiatives and define metrics to track progress.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience including management consulting, financial analysis, M&A modelling and execution, strategy, and/or senior executive exposure and support.
• Demonstrated ability to drive workstreams and large portions of projects with significant strategic impact.
• Superior strategic and analytical skills with ability to draw key insights and develop clear recommendations.
• Highly motivated with initiative and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship management capabilities, including strong executive level PowerPoint skills and ability to summarize strategic rationale succinctly.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute on a broad range of strategic projects, formulating strategic recommendations and obtaining stakeholder buy-in.
• Work with leads in corporate strategy and senior management to define and set goals through the annual strategic planning process.
• Develop actionable recommendations that support the business strategy and goals; plan and implement recommendations with senior team.
• Develop business and operational action plans and drive implementation with peers and stakeholders.
• Articulate S&P Global strategy to key stakeholders and tailor messages for executives.
