Job summary

Gong is seeking a Senior Corporate Security Engineer to design, implement, and scale security controls across endpoint, identity, SaaS, email, collaboration, zero-trust access, and data protection for a globally distributed workforce.

You will lead cross‑functional work with IT, Legal, GRC, and engineering to ship secure solutions that balance strong controls with usability and speed, advancing Gong’s AI‑native security program.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security data pipeline engineering, detection engineering, SIEM engineering, cyber intelligence or threat hunting.
• Proficient with EDR/XDR tools (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, MS Defender) and cloud security tools (Wiz, Prisma Cloud, Orca).
• Experience deploying zero‑trust platforms and controls.
• Experience building data ingestion pipelines using CI/CD methodologies.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and mitigation strategies; strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own key parts of Gong’s corporate security engineering roadmap across endpoint, identity, SaaS, email, collaboration, access, and data protection.
• Lead endpoint security engineering for macOS, Windows, and Linux fleets; coordinate with IT and DRE for containment readiness.
• Drive identity and access security initiatives including SSO, phishing-resistant MFA, passwordless, and conditional access.
• Implement email and collaboration security controls across email, Slack, Drive, and related platforms.
• Oversee SaaS security posture management, shadow SaaS discovery, and third‑party/OAuth governance.
• Advance zero‑trust and corporate network security for a globally distributed workforce.
• Enhance data protection and insider-risk capabilities across endpoints, email, browser, and SaaS channels.
• Pair with IT, Legal, GRC, Procurement, and engineering to implement durable controls.
• Improve security program scalability with automation, integrations, and reusable patterns.
