Job summary

Gong is seeking a visionary corporate cyber defense leader to architect and scale security foundations protecting our global, AI-native workforce, devices, and data. You will build a high-performing Corporate Security Engineering team within Gong’s Cyber Defense group and shape the technical strategy that enables fast, secure growth across the company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a people leader in corporate security, enterprise security engineering, or cyber defense.
• Hands-on experience in designing and scaling security programs for global, distributed workforces.
• Proven ability to build secure-by-default controls and automation.
• Strong cross-functional leadership across Security, IT, Legal, GRC, People, and Procurement.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, operating model, and execution of Corporate Security Engineering within Gong's Cyber Defense group.
• Lead and grow a high-performing security engineering team.
• Oversee endpoint security across macOS, Windows, and Linux fleets and ensure policy hardening.
• Manage identity, access security including SSO, MFA, passwordless and conditional access.
• Lead email and collaboration security, SaaS security posture, and zero trust for a distributed workforce.
• Partner with IT, Legal, GRC, and Procurement to implement security controls.
