Job summary

Gong is seeking a Senior Corporate Security Engineer to secure endpoints, identities, SaaS, email, collaboration, and data protection for a global, distributed workforce. You will design, implement, and scale security controls across endpoint, identity, SaaS, email, collaboration, zero-trust access, and data protection.

This role is within Gong's Cyber Defense organization, focusing on preventive controls that enable the business while reducing risk.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security engineering roles (corporate/enterprise).
• Experience with EDR/XDR such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, or Defender.
• Proficiency with IAM, MFA, SSO, and zero-trust concepts.
• Experience deploying security controls across endpoints, SaaS, email, and collaboration.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and detection engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own security roadmap across endpoint, identity, SaaS, email, collaboration, and data protection.
• Design and scale security controls for a global, distributed workforce.
• Governing OAuth access, shadow IT, and AI-tool governance for safety and compliance.
• Collaborate with IT, DRE, People, Legal, GRC, and Procurement to implement durable controls.
• Improve data protection and incident response capabilities.
