Job summary

East Penn Manufacturing Company is seeking a Security Manager to lead physical security, asset protection, investigations, and emergency preparedness programs across our facilities. You will work with cross‑functional teams to maintain a secure, resilient workplace and protect company assets.

This corporate security leadership role requires extensive experience in security operations, vendor management, and incident investigations within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of progressive physical security, asset protection, law enforcement, military, or related experience.
• Five or more years of leadership experience in security operations or a related function.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or critical infrastructure environments preferred.
• Experience managing contract security personnel and third‑party security providers.
• Experience conducting security investigations, preparing reports, preserving evidence, and coordinating corrective actions.
• Experience developing emergency response plans and working with law enforcement, first responders, and internal stakeholders.
• Training in professional interview and investigative techniques, such as Wicklander‑Zulawski, Reid Institute, or equivalent, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement asset protection strategies to safeguard company facilities, inventory, equipment, information, and other critical assets.
• Oversee facility security controls and recommend enhancements to strengthen protection of people, property, and operations.
• Manage third‑party contract security providers and hold vendors accountable for service quality, staffing, training, and performance expectations.
• Lead or support timely, objective, and well‑documented investigations involving security‑related incidents.
• Maintain and support emergency response planning for security‑related events and business disruptions.
• Oversee routine patrols, inspections, alarm reviews, and security system monitoring.
