Job summary

Baker Hughes seeks a Counsel, Corporate & Securities in Houston to advise on SEC reporting and governance. You will partner with Treasury, Finance, IR and external advisers on complex transactions and public company matters. The role offers exposure to senior leadership and broad corporate matters in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a JD, Texas bar or eligibility, and 3+ years of relevant experience in corporate and securities work at a leading firm or public company.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. state (Texas preferred).
• 3+ years of corporate/securities experience at a law firm or public company.

Responsibilities

• Advise on SEC reporting, governance, and securities law compliance.
• Prepare and coordinate Board materials and governance documents.
• Support capital markets and financing transactions including debt offerings.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Finance, IR, Tax and outside counsel on complex matters.
