Job summary

Second Harvest of Silicon Valley is seeking a Senior Corporate Philanthropy Officer to cultivate and secure corporate partnerships with 6-figure gifts, managing a portfolio of 80+ partners and driving revenue across the philanthropy program. You will develop engagement strategies, mentor staff, and represent the organization to corporate leaders in San Jose and the broader Silicon Valley.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of successful experience securing corporate gifts of $10,000+.
• Ability to build and sustain long-term corporate partnerships with measurable outcomes.
• Knowledge of the Silicon Valley corporate and philanthropic landscape.
• High-level strategic thinking and initiative-taking.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with executive engagement experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
• Flexibility to work evenings/weekends and travel locally as needed.
• Valid California driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of corporate partners, securing six-figure gifts.
• Manage a dynamic portfolio of 80+ corporate partners with an annual portfolio revenue goal.
• Develop and implement customized engagement strategies aligning company interests with Second Harvest’s mission.
• Track fundraising metrics, forecasting, and partner engagement using Salesforce CRM.
• Lead campaign stewardship for the $150M Capital Campaign and related donor communications.
• Collaborate with the Senior Director of the Capital Campaign on impact reporting and events.
• Provide mentorship and leadership within the Corporate Philanthropy team.
• Represent Second Harvest in meetings, sponsorship events, panels, and industry convenings.
• Collaborate with Marketing on proposals, impact reports, and donor communications reflecting brand voice.
