Job summary

Viant Technology is seeking a meticulous Paralegal to support the Chief Legal Officer and corporate needs. You will drive governance, entity management, and securities compliance while coordinating with HR, outside counsel, and business partners in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage immigration matters, equity plan questions, insurance program tasks, and cross-functional governance with a focus on confidentiality and professionalism. Calif. notary is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of paralegal experience in-house, preferably in a public tech company.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program.
• Experience supporting corporate governance, securities, and Board processes.
• Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
• Notary Public commission in California is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chief Legal Officer with governance activities, board prep, minutes, and record maintenance.
• Handle D&O questionnaires, Section 16 reporting, related party inquiries, and audit certifications.
• Administer Board portal and maintain governance policies and charters.
• Coordinate board and legal calendars, including filings, deadlines, and regulatory matters.
• Assist with SEC filings, public company reporting, and compliance initiatives.
• Manage corporate entities and foreign subsidiary filings with tax team support.
• Oversee employment-based immigration matters with HR and outside counsel.
• Support various legal matters including IP, privacy, contracts, and insurance programs.
• Partner with Legal Ops to support transactions, diligence, and closing logistics.
