Thomson Reuters Practical Law is seeking a Senior Specialist Legal Editor for the Capital Markets & Corporate Governance team. You will craft and maintain practical know-how for startups, leveraging your capital markets experience to support AI-driven legal solutions.

The role emphasizes working with a dynamic editorial team, influencing product development, and engaging with external contributors to ensure market-relevant content for US startups.

Qualifications

• JD required.
• Minimum of eight (8) years' experience working as a lawyer in a law firm or in-house with startup experience.
• Strong technical skills including generative AI technologies to enhance productivity and accuracy.
• Adaptability to work on diverse projects within the generative AI space and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Research, draft and maintain practical legal know-how content addressing startup needs for Practical Law and other TR products.
• Monitor market developments to keep content relevant and accurate.
• Support AI-powered tools development and integration with editorial content.
• Collaborate with Product Management to innovate tech development and AI integration.
• Maintain relationships with external law firms and industry groups to reflect market practice.
• Support sales, marketing and respond to customer inquiries.
