Job summary

Thomson Reuters Corp. is seeking a Senior Specialist Legal Editor for Practical Law – Corporate (Global) to work remotely in the United States. You will apply deep corporate and cross-border M&A expertise to create and maintain practical, current content and to support AI-powered legal solutions.

You will draft and edit material, stay updated with evolving law, and collaborate with multi-jurisdictional teams to ensure practical accuracy across markets.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as a Corporate and M&A lawyer in a law firm or in-house
• Experience advising on cross-border corporate matters including M&A, formation/governance of non-US subsidiaries, joint ventures, and investment matters
• Strong writing skills and ability to write clearly in plain English
• Collaborative with ability to work in multi-jurisdictional teams
• Experience using AI tools in legal work

Responsibilities

• Research, write and maintain clear, current, and practical legal content aligned with market practice and customer needs
• Review and edit content written by others
• Stay updated with legal developments to ensure accuracy
• Support development of AI-powered legal solutions and internal AI editorial tools
• Develop relationships with lawyers and industry groups to reflect current market practice
• Collaborate with product management, sales, marketing, and technology teams
