Job summary

Lumen seeks an experienced Corporate Investigator to join our Ethics & Compliance team. You will lead complex internal investigations into employee misconduct, ethics concerns, and business integrity matters with independence and professional judgment.

The role requires strong interviewing, evidence gathering, and analytical skills, plus the ability to produce well-supported Reports of Investigation. You will collaborate with Human Resources, Legal, and senior leaders in a remote or distributed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with relevant corporate/government investigation experience.
• Independent management of complex investigations from intake to resolution.
• Strong interviewing, evidence-gathering, analytical, and written-reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases with deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Strong stakeholder management and objective, impartial analysis.
• Experience in a remote or distributed work environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end internal investigations involving employee misconduct, ethics concerns, and business integrity matters.
• Manage multiple investigations concurrently, prioritizing by risk, complexity, and impact.
• Conduct witness interviews with a neutral, professional approach.
• Evaluate evidence and findings to identify trends, risks, and root causes.
• Prepare comprehensive Reports of Investigation with clear analysis and conclusions.
• Present findings to HR, Legal, and senior leaders with credibility.
