Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and data searches.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification required; additional certifications preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel for field work.

Responsibilities

• Supports programs and policies for monitoring and preventing chemical, physical, and biological hazards.
• Surveys, analyzes data related to occupational and environmental health issues.
• Performs field and safety measurements and hazard evaluations.
• Maintains material data sheets and monitoring instrumentation.
• Directs workers in field and laboratory health compliance activities.
• Implements programs to track worker injuries and safety improvements.
• Facilitates training for workers on health and safety topics.
