Job summary

Environmental Restoration LLC is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to develop, implement, and maintain workplace health, safety, and environmental programs that ensure regulatory compliance.

You will lead safety initiatives, conduct inspections, investigations, trainings, and coordinate emergency planning across multiple locations nationwide; travel required. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years' experience are required, with CSP preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of progressive health and safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain company health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections, job hazard analyses, and risk assessments.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and property damage events, determining root causes and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records related to injuries, illnesses, inspections, training, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead safety committees and promote employee engagement in safety initiatives.
• Develop and deliver safety orientation and ongoing training programs for employees and supervisors.
• Monitor the use of PPE and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Coordinate emergency response planning, drills, and evacuation procedures.
• Review contractor and subcontractor safety performance and compliance.
• Analyze safety metrics and prepare reports for management.
• Partner with operations and leadership teams to improve workplace safety performance.
