Job summary

CrossSafety is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to lead onsite HSE operations at our Shirley/Yaphank, NY site. You will manage and continuously improve health, safety, and environmental programs to protect employees, assets, and operations in a high-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires 5+ years of HSE leadership in industrial or food manufacturing, strong leadership and change-management skills, and certification knowledge. Travel between sites may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HSE leadership experience in industrial/food manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience leading safety programs and driving culture change.
• Experience on active production or processing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead site HSE programs aligned with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Drive site-level HSE strategy including change management and continuous improvement.
• Conduct site audits, inspections, and compliance assessments; manage corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training and competency programs.
• Coach and develop HSE Specialists; promote a proactive safety culture.
